El Malilla, an icon and undisputed leader of Mexican reggaetón, continues to strengthen his presence in the urban scene with the release of his new EP “TU MALIANTE BEBÉ VOL. 2” — a project that reflects his artistic and personal growth, marking a new chapter in the evolution of the genre made in Mexico. Known for his authenticity, vision, and ability to connect with diverse audiences, El Malilla once again proves why he has become one of the most important references in today’s music scene.

Following the success of “TU MALIANTE BEBÉ”, which reached No. 2 in national sales on Mixup, this second volume arrives as a natural progression in his career. In this new release, El Malilla explores a more romantic, introspective, and melodic side without losing the strength that defines his sound. Across five tracks that intertwine desire, passion, and maturity, the artist reveals a more emotional version of himself — the yang to his yin — reflecting continuous artistic evolution. “Confesarlo” stands as the EP’s focus track, capturing the essence of the project and setting the tone for this new stage.

“TU MALIANTE BEBÉ VOL. 2” brings together international collaborations with artists who have been true inspirations for El Malilla, adding diversity and weight to the project. Among them are J Álvarez and Gotay, representatives of the Puerto Rican school that laid the foundation for modern reggaetón; Kaydy Cain, a key figure in Spain’s urban movement and one of the most authentic voices in European trap; Lucky Brown, a young Chilean talent who, despite his age, has already positioned himself as a standout performer in his national scene; and Enayy, a Mexican artist who contributes a fresh voice and distinctive energy to the EP’s sound.

For El Malilla, collaborating with these artists represents a deeply personal milestone and a way to pay tribute to those who have served as sources of inspiration throughout his musical journey — shaping the path he continues to build within the industry.
With this release, El Malilla opens a new phase in his career, showcasing the maturity, versatility, and authenticity that have made him one of the leading names in Mexican reggaetón. As the highlight of this new chapter, he is set to perform on February 13 at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City, in a concert that promises to be a celebration of his career, energy, and the songs that have made him a true phenomenon in Latin urban music.
Fernando Hernández, known artistically as El Malilla, is a Mexican songwriter and artist from Valle de Chalco who, at just 26 years old, has established himself as one of the most relevant voices in the national urban music scene. His raw and melodic style, deeply connected to his roots and personal experiences, has allowed him to stand out on the global stage. In 2024, he experienced one of the most important moments of his career in Mexico by performing on the main stage of Coca-Cola Flow Fest before more than 100,000 people. In 2025, he made history by becoming the first Mexican reggaetón artist to perform at Coachella, one of the most important festivals in the world. That same year, he took part in other major international events such as the Latino Sueños Festival in Chicago, Lollapalooza in Chile and Argentina, and Riverland Warm Up in Spain. His music has been recognized with 7 Platinum and 6 Gold certifications, including: one Platinum for “Dime”; three Platinum and one Gold for “B de Bellako”; Platinum and Gold for “Azótame,” “Tiki,” and “Bien Bebe”; and Gold for “Resolvemos” and “Más Tarde.” In 2024, he was named Crack Artist of the Year at the MTV MIAW Awards. In 2025, he starred in the second episode of the new season of City Sessions, the renowned live concert series produced by Amazon Music, reaffirming his growing presence on key platforms in the music industry. In August 2025, El Malilla released his new EP titled “TU MALIANTE BEBÉ,” reaffirming the expansion of his artistic vision. This project strengthens his identity as one of the most representative voices of Mexican reggaetón, backed by his label LA ESQUINA INC.
