Sofía Reyes presents IDGAF ERA (postdata), a release that serves as the final chapter of one of the most defining periods of her career. More than an extension of IDGAF ERA, her fourth studio album released on August 20, this new project reveals itself as the missing piece of the puzzle and the final conversation that remained unfinished, completing the narrative from a more intimate, reflective, and emotional place.

If IDGAF ERA was the cry of liberation, a fearless and unfiltered sonic manifesto about speaking one’s truth, letting go of what no longer serves, and embracing what ignites the soul, IDGAF ERA (postdata) arrives as the introspective whisper that brings that cycle to a close. Through four additional tracks, Sofía dives deeper into her personal and artistic transformation, embracing a more raw, organic, and grounded approach that reveals an even more honest and vulnerable side.

With a rawer and more grounded production, IDGAF ERA (postdata) expands the narrative of the album through a balance between reinterpretation and new material. Produced by Kastelo, Juan Luqui, Douglas Moda, and Jose Castillo, under the executive production of Charlie Guerrero, these new pieces bring depth to the closing of this chapter. In this journey, Sofía Reyes revisits some of her songs through a renewed perspective, such as “Lua,” now presented in a sophisticated Bossa Nova version that celebrates her connection to Brazil, and “Saberte Querer” (Orchestral Version), recorded in Hungary alongside the Budapest Scoring Orchestra, as part of a creative pursuit to bring the song into a live-instrumentation setting with a more organic sound, in tune with the spirit of this project. With “Lo Bueno y Lo Malo” and “Yo También,” two tracks that serve as a statement of intent about starting over, following intuition, and fully embracing every part of the process. In “Yo También,” Sofía reveals her most vulnerable and acoustic side, marking the definitive close of an empowering chapter while opening the door to a complete reinvention.
